The Sun, as our ancestor revealed long back is the only source of light and heat for human and other living being, from where we are able to live and feel the presence and direction of object. Therefore, the Sun, rising Sun is like a god, who gives us our essentials to live in, and the direction from where it is apparent to the entire world is taken as reference as the EAST direction. So the East direction is considered to the pious direction from where we get our main essentials. If we face the rising sun, the facing direction is called East, behind us shall be West, our left hand denotes North direction and right hand denotes South direction, therefore, the effect of the direction leads to its result to the building / house constructed there in.

North & human head both are positive poles, due to which they repel each other. Flow of magnetic field is from North of South, so body in North South axis will receive magnetic field from the feet resulting in proper blood circulation, due to presence of iron in the blood. This would result in headaches , body imbalances etc.

Yes, infact it is the first important thing to be considered while choosing a plot. A square or rectangular shaped plot is taken as ideal in Vaastu. Any other shape with Southwest corner at 90° angle, with Northwest and Southeast corners having more then 90° angle and Northeast corner at less then 90° angle is also considered auspicious.
The best for entrance remain East & North.

No. not at all , it's a science rather a universal science.

Vaastu is a combination to Bio energy force, gravitational force, magnetic field of earth, solar energy, velocity of wind and cosmic radiation's.

Answer. The question of ownership does not arise. Whoever occupies and stays in the building is the recipient of the effect.

Due to the tilt of the earth (22½°) North East corner of a structure receives energy. During early morning when the sun is at its maximum distance from the earth, only infrared rays are able to reach the earth, which are beneficial for the human body. Hence Northeast portion of the house should be such that it should receive beneficial infrared rays.

If you are facing problems , which cant be explained & are normally not expected then you should suspect Vaastu dosh.

Not necessary. Only prominent defects need to be corrected so that the energy flow changes for the better. The other defects can remain. If on the overall, a structure has a positive presence it will give good effect notwithstanding a few mistakes here and there.

Generally speaking, one should avoid a building in front of a T-junction. In comparison a house in front of a T-junction in the South or West direction has more bad effects then the one facing North or East direction. The harsh energy due to the traffic on the road entering directly into the premises results in a tense and negative environment.

Basically the same. Build the structure so as to have a positive atmosphere inside. The principles remain the same as those for residential buildings. See maximum sunlight & air ventilation plays a major role everywhere.

Nature consists of five basic elements. Your own body is made up of these elements:
(1) air
(2) fire
(3) water
(4) earth and most importantly,
(5) Cosmic energy.
When we synchronize our place of business and residence with nature's energies, our personal location becomes a dynamic location, in order for nature to release positive energy to benefit us. The science of Vaastu Shastra helps us to do so by its understanding of directions & energies controlling those directions.

While selecting plots and while the design of the house is still On the drawing board. At this time it is very easy to incorporate all Vaastu norms with out sacrificing aesthetics, comforts or economy of construction.

No, infact, it is a science of directions. It was written 6000 years back keeping in mind that, who so ever resides in a house, will be benefited, so the question of religion does not arise. Though it is a part of the Vedas, but you can take it as one more invaluable gift from the Indians to the entire world.

Yes, the zodiac sign of the owner of the house, on whose name the deed of house is made can be taken as reference, and according to zodiac sign of the owner main door can be fixed. But since the houses are used generation after generation and in every generation the owner of house is changed the main door if fitted as per the location of plot and road abutting according to Vaastu Shastra then only it may be considered auspicious.

As per the Vaastu Shastra, the number of doors and windows of a house should be even in numbers. The main door being strongest & all other doors in proportion to it, but smaller.

All the positive energy from Northeast corner will move away through Southwest door. It is supposed to be the door of leakage of money. Southwest corner should also be closed and blocked to avoid negative energies entering into the house.

The corner represents the blending of two cardinal directions which also represents any of the four elements of Vaastu i.e. (Northeast -water, Southeast -Fire, Southwest - Earth, Northwest -Air). That is why the corners are very important in Vaastu.

Overhead water tanks create height & weight, which is good for Southwest direction. But any activity related to water, overflow of water, leakage etc; are not allowed in that corner.

Positive energy moves in the clockwise direction and negative energy moves in the anticlockwise direction. So, the staircase should be made in the clockwise direction with odd number of steps for positive effect.

A underground water tank in the Southwest area of a house is the most negative and major flaw in Vaastu. This leads to the defects represented by the 3 D's: Debts, Delays and Disharmony in the family.

Due to the low level of energy, basements are ideally not good for living but if one can create & enhance the energy level with the help of lighting, proper ventilation & air conditioning etc; the same can be used as a working area.

Generally speaking, the effect is same. But it depends on various other aspects as well. Though the astrological strong points play a very important role as well.

See in life of 100% - 25% is Vaastu Shastra that can be rectified 25% is Karma which can change a lot in your life. 50% is destiny which cannot be changed.

It is best to refer to Vaastu for improvement or enhancement of quality of life, rather than referring to Vaastu as a problem solver. A man should realize the potential that he has within him to putting the best of his efforts with balanced mind. Only when he has completed the best of his ability taking records to a higher help is logical.

Yin and Yang, the Five Elements, East/West Compass Directions, the Solar System and the Environment.

Feng Shui is based upon a set of theories and complex calculations derived from the Yi Jing. This includes an in-depth understanding and application of the theories of Yin and Yang, along with the balancing of the Five Elements (Fire, Earth, Metal, Water, and Wood) and taking into account the physical relationship between the natural environment and the magnetic field.

The feng shui kua numbers identify different human personalities and factors affecting their lives. These numbers go from 1 to 9 and are calculated from the Chinese lunar birth date. The lunar birth date starts around late January and early February sometimes, so if your birthday is around these months you should consult a chart for an accurate date.

The kua numbers are calculated differently for females than for males. For males, the kua number has to be calculated as follows: the two last numbers of their year birth should be added and then reduced to just one digit. That last digit should be deducted from 10 and the result is the kua number. For example, if you are a male who was born at 1958, you should first add 5 + 8 = 13. Then add 1 + 3 = 4, and then 10 - 4 = 6; that last digit would be your kua number.

If you are a female, you should calculate your kua number in the following way: first add the last two numbers of your birth date, then reduce it to one digit, and then add 5 to the result. For example, if you were a female who was born at 1966 you should add 6 + 6 = 12 and then add 1 + 2 = 3. Then add 3 + 5 = 8; that last digit would be your kua number.

There is an exception when the result is 5, either for males or for females, and that number must be changed for another. When this happens, and if you are a male, your kua number is 2, and if you are a female your number is 8. Therefore, kua numbers go from 1 to 9 but without having the number 5 in the list.

These numbers correspond to the main five elements. The kua number 1 corresponds to the element water, while the numbers 3 and 4 correspond to the element wood. The numbers 2, 5 and 8 correspond to the earth element and the numbers 6 and 7 to metal. The kua number 9 corresponds to the element fire.

Feng Shui practitioner using a Lo-pan (compass) determines the energy characteristics of a building and its resultant effects on the building's occupants. Calculations are done according to the basic principles, then remedies are prescribed where necessary in order to balance the energy so it will have a positive effect.

Feng Shui can be applied to analyze the energy (Qi) of a city, state, country or even the world.

Yes, only if they are made of metal and used judiciously. If wind Chimes are placed improperly they can actually cause problems!

Feng Shui is not related to any religion or belief system. It is a scientific discipline based on the analysis of energy.

Over 3,000 years ago, Chinese farmers established a religious science that developed out of Taoism called Feng Shui (Fung Shui), meaning wind water. Feng Shui is a belief that by living in harmony with nature and adjusting our homes, businesses, and yards to adapt to geological alignments to physical elements, we will be healthy, wealthy, and wise. It is also called geomancy, a form of divination.

Feng Shui teaches that there is an energy called Qi (or Chi) flowing throughout the universe in lines, sometimes called meridians or channels. It claims to balance the Yin and Yang in the environment. It resembles astrology in some aspects.

Lets come together & discuss to attain max. benefits from this harmonious science.

Different people have different energy needs. There are two "energy" groups: East and West group. You will be either one or the other according to your date of birth and gender.
• The East Group numbers are 1, 3, 4 and 9.
• The West Group Kua numbers are 2, 6, 7 and 8

Answer-We start from the alphabet that we are born with in order to come to the essential information needed to meet our universal symbols - the numbers of our numeric code. Why?
Every word, in every language, perfectly reflects the feeling and spirit of the thing that is named by the people that use that language. All languages emerge from, and represent the nature of the people who use them. It's the same way with the alphabet. The alphabet we are born with is only a part of numerology tools helping us to come to our essential being and answer the question why we are here. Our names are the part of the message why we are born under the certain ancestral influence. Decoding it through the belonging alphabet we come to universal symbols, which are numbers. They are the same everywhere. No matter what language the number is used in, the number 1 means the beginning, the origin, the first, the birth.

Pythagoras arguably made the greatest individual contribution to the development of numerology in the West. After many years of research, he established his School of Mysteries, where the study of numbers, astronomy (which then included astrology) and geometry (including sacred geometry) were at the heart of the curriculum. Because his approach was eclectic, the Pythagorean legacy embraces wisdom from a spectrum of sources that were presented in a way that would appeal to the emergent scientific mind. Almost every contemporary western treatment of Numerology owes something to Pythagoras.

Of course, like all good things numerology can be used--or abused. Repeatedly on our numerology pages, we try to remind you that you always have free will over all areas of your life. With that said, we have found that individuals who seek to unlock the power of self-awareness and development that numerology offers, are almost universally dedicated to the enlightenment and enrichment of all life in our world; realizing that there is a supreme force in the universe that we are all a part of, dependent upon, and eternally in debt to.

The science of using your lucky stone or gemstone for astrological & medicinal purposes, thereby enhancing your health, wealth & over-all prosperity is referred to as gem stone therapy. All gemstones are created by nature & irrespectively inherite distinct properties & features of healing , curing & also rectifying astrological imbalances & problems.

According to many researchers & scholars, a gem having a good luster, pure and clean color and no flaws ensures good luck and protection. He however warns that Gem stones with flaws can bring disaster. For instance if people wear gemstones that donot suit their astrological aspects , it also has the power to create a havoc in their lives thereby, ruining everything.
So, if a gemstone can create heaven , it can also create hell

There are basically 2 popular theories that are widely known & accepted related to the use of gemstones:

1. First is the use of seven gemstones namely Ruby, Pearl, Red Coral, Emerald, Yellow Sapphire, Diamond , Blue Sapphire to capture the visible spectrum of sunlight or sunrays . This theory is adapted from out very own Rig Veda.

2. Second theory being more popular & acceptable states that gemstones have universal powers because of their natural creations that disallow particular vibrations from causing
harm.

Fortune Stones or the Lucky Charm Stones - these are the lucky stones which give positive results to the person using it.These stones are used for a long-tem i.e. the entire lifespan of the person. This stone goes absolutely in rhythm with the birthchart of the person providing with the desired luck in all aspects of life.

S.O.S. Stones - These stones are used for short-time periods , in certain phases of one’s life
for providing relief during period of distress are known as problem area.

The Vedic sciences & astrology classifies gemstones into three broad categories namely Panch Ratna- The Power of Five Gems, Sapta Ratna- The Power of Seven Gems , Nav Ratna- the Power of Nine gems ( Most Popular Category).

Substitute of Gem stones- Real gemstones are often expensive & not easily available. There are artificial stones with near about same colour that represent these original gemstones. Needless to say , they cannot inherit the same properties & are not as effective as real naturally created gemstones.

Panch Ratna or The Power of Five Jewels
This category consists of the Five basic elements responsible for all creations i.e. the Panchbhootas ( Fire , Earth, Water , Air, Space). Gemstones are naturallly created , & each of these five elements have a gemstone associated with it as they possess the quality of each of these five elements. When our body lacks any one of these panchbhootas , the use of the respective gemstone proves beneficial.
Below I am giving the gemstone association with each element , with its popular name & substitutes.

In this modern world where development is the so rapid , creating imitations is not a big deal. It is in news that artificial solaitairs look alikes have already been created & are flooded in the market.
So, the most important aspect obviously becomes selecting the right quality of your lucky stone & to make sure that you are wearing the real stone & not its immitation. There are substitutes to precious stones which may provide near about results , but they cannot match with the original powers of real & precious lucky gemstones.
Basically one recognizes the gemstone through its colour , but the fact is the real stone looks faded in front of the artificial stone’s sparkle. So all that shines is not gold & all stones that shine are not real.Keeping in mind the colour there are various ther aspects according to our vedic astrology principles that are recommended to be checked before picking up your lucky gemstone.
